Kosmunity
is a privately initialized and non-commercial website to create and
maintain the communication and social
exchange between all the people living on
Kos island, Dodecanese,
Greece!
About
31.000 greek Kos-ians are living on the island and several thousand (?)
northern european temporary or steady residents, who own houses, live
here since years and run businesses and more.
Until
now, as we found ourselves living 15 months in Kos, it was pretty
difficult to meet and get people together - for
private reasons, for business, for culture and other social desires.

is planned as a meeting point for everybody, who wants to get in touch
- by which (honest and serious!) reason ever!
Unfortunately,
immediately after the first setup of this page, a russian hacker
intruded the website and abused it´s pages to spread bad and
malicious code over all new visitors!
Several
of them (maybe you, too?) faced big troubles and even we had to fight
for 2 months
until we eliminated all bad codes hidden in our webspace... the greek
webspace-provider TOPHOST from Crete unfortunately was not
very professional and helpfull in that issue!
By that reason, we have a pretty
simple HTML-version online now and will step by stept setup a new,
interactive software, so all users can contact each other easily and
without any harm or endangered by whatever!
In the meantime, all communication is held
via my email-account, until I add new features to the site! Please use

Especially the environmental question with all that garbage and noise
will be emphasized again and again, as we know, that many residents
mention that as a major complaint!
